We Have So Much To Be Thankful For At Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what matters most: family, friendship, good health, and the kindness of those around us.
At Improve Their Lives Canada, we have much to be thankful for, and much of it is because of you.
2026 has been a remarkable year:
We became a Canadian registered charity in February 2026.
We reached 118% of our 2026 fundraising goal, and provided school supplies to 850 students in remote western Nepal.
We partnered with the Filipino Social Club of Oakville (FSCO) to support #BringASmile to the Philippines in 2027, and celebrated our first in-person fundraising event on October 3.

We’re already at 41% of our $15,000 CAD fundraising goal since launching #BringASmile 2027 in August!
Next year, we’ll continue supporting two schools in Nepal for the third consecutive year and welcome our first school in the Philippines.
100% of public donations support our #BringASmile projects, as our founders personally cover all administrative and operating costs.

There are many ways to help:
Corporate Giving
If your workplace has an employee giving and/or matching program, donate to Improve Their Lives Canada through Benevity or CanadaHelps (search for "Improve Their Lives Canada").
Birthday or special occasion
Hosting a birthday, wedding, or other celebration? Invite your guests to make a donation in lieu of a gift.
Simply donate
$20 helps two students. $50 helps five. $100 helps ten. Help two students, or help many, and grow your impact.
None of these accomplishments would have been possible without our supporters, volunteers, and partners. Thank you for believing in what we do.
A Little Goes A Long Way
As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, let’s appreciate what we have and remember those who are less fortunate.
