Bringing joy to students with more recreational equipment before school year ends

When we visited Madu School in Achham with school supplies last November, we didn’t just bring essentials - we brought joy! Knowing that volleyball is Nepal’s national sport, we gifted the students two brand new volleyballs and net. The excitement was heart warming as some students eagerly showcased their skills, while others cheered, laughed, and soaked in the fun during their lunch break.

Seeing their enthusiasm, we asked what other recreational equipment they’d love to have. Their faces lit up as they suggested badminton, soccer balls, and skipping ropes.

In mid-February, we learned one of our Team Nepal members was travelling to Surkhet (the closest city where our wholesaler supplier partner was) for a wedding. We transferred her funds out-of-pocket and asked her to bring back 10 badminton kits, 40 skipping ropes, 3 soccer balls and 3 additional volleyballs for the students.

At the heart of it all, it’s about creating moments of joy, laughter, and unforgettable smiles.
