Empowering youth athletes to participate in volleyball tournament

While cricket and football dominate the sports scene in Nepal, volleyball was officially declared the national sport in 2017. Each year, teams compete at the municipal level, striving to advance to national and international tournaments.

This year marked a special milestone for students at Madu School in Achham, located in the far western region of Nepal. For the first time, they participated in the municipal volleyball tournament, competing against 19 other schools in the Accham district.

Although they did not progress to the next competition level, their enthusiasm and determination remain strong. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the volleyballs and net you donated in November 2024, which have allowed them to practice and strengthen their skills as a team. Thanks to your generosity, they are already preparing for next year’s tournament with renewed passion and confidence.
