Happy Thanksgiving!
(Canada 10/13 | USA 11/27)
Thanksgiving is a time to gather and reflect on the things and people we are thankful for.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we want to share a brief message from some of the students at the Madu School in Nepal, and what they are really thankful for - YOUR generosity in providing them with school supplies!

Update: Our Charity Registration
In case you missed it, Improve Their Lives Canada is now incorporated in Ontario.
We've also submitted our application to obtain charitable status with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), with a target review date of February 2026. Once approved, we'll be able to issue official tax receipts for your donations toward next year's Nepal school supplies drive.
Registering the charity is a time-consuming and costly process, but we know this is a critical step to strengthen and grow our mission.

Let's continue to spread the word!
Let's continue to grow the community of thoughtful, generous and kind-hearted supporters, just like you! Thanksgiving get-togethers are a perfect occasion for a conversation - ask friends and family to subscribe to our free newsletters and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Importantly, our project also has a team to thank, in particular, one individual - Sita!
Sita is our ground hero in Nepal who work really hard to make things happen with the school supplies.
